About Us

After obtaining his formal Acupuncture qualifications in Australia in the mid 1990’s Dr Stewart has completed two Hospital internships as well as post-grad studies in an International Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine University in China.

Whether you suffer with headaches, nerve pain, muscle pain, fatigue, digestive or fertility problems, sports injuries or require back pain treatment, I look forward to providing you with the same level of care for which I have become renowned. My experience and dedication make it easy to get you back on track fast! This is a 3800 year old ancient technique using needles at certain defined points to puncture the skin and restore health.

Using a unique medically researched form of acupuncture for pain and health problems we have managed to achieve outstanding results consistently. Acupuncture treatment has been practiced for thousands of years in China and other Asian countries and more recently, throughout the world. Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific site areas (acupuncture points) along the body’s surface to bring about the required changes in the individual.

The health and pain changes are created by a complex series of events involving local nerve stimulation that sends messages to the brain, which then responds by adjusting the opioid and oxygen levels in the problematic area we are targeting. Acupuncture is an effective, natural and increasingly popular form of health care that is used by people all over the world. Acupuncture helps a person on a body, mind, and spiritual level. Most people think of acupuncture for pain, however it is also used to treat most common health problems with great ease.

As an acupuncturist I can help people make lifestyle changes. This could be as simple as learning how to breathe properly. I like to check in with my patients to see how everything is going in their life and health, and proceed to give them a personalized acupuncture treatment that addresses their concerns.

Every treatment is unique, as no two people are exactly the same.
